This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales enablement, AI adoption, workflow automation, and program execution. and will focus on leveraging AI for operational analytics, productivity optimization, and data-informed decision support capabilities. The role focus will be designed to improve scalability, productivity, and measurable business impact of pre-sales enablement across the field pre-sales organization. Role mission statement: Accelerate the global SE organization’s ability to achieve Technical Wins by leveraging AI solutions, automation, and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

The primary objective is to improve SE productivity, readiness, and technical-win effectiveness through AI. Identifying high-impact use-cases AI solutions to improve productivity, consistency, and scale of the pre-sales organization and build a portfolio of these offerings. Build and deploy POCs independently to demonstrate ROI before scaling internal AI solutions. Independently design, develop or build complete internal AI solutions such as agents, multi-step workflow or integrations, making informed decisions about agent architecture, context design, retrieval strategies tailored to help pre-sales advance opportunities along the sales process. Project manage the rollout of AI solutions focused on pre-sales enablement. Partner cross-functionally with the Customer Office, Shared Services, Systems Engineering teams, Product Management, Product Marketing, IT, and other internal stakeholders to translate the larger AI strategy into actionable pre-sales enablement plans, tools, workflows and adoption programs. Track and report adoption, efficiency, productivity, and ROI metrics for SETI initiatives. Build consistent AI processes that enable the business to meet objectives. Communicate progress, risks, adoption insights, and business impact to senior stakeholders and executive audiences. This will be done by building and maintaining Power BI or other dashboards. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in program or project management, central tools management, enablement, pre-sales operations, sales engineering, technical training, consulting, or a related function. Strong understanding of pre-sales, Systems Engineering, or customer-facing technical sales environments. Experience delivering or supporting enablement, training, field readiness, or technical knowledge programs. Demonstrated success implementing automation, AI solutions, workflow improvements, or productivity tools. Understanding of AI tooling, prompt flow, API Integration. Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives without direct authority. Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes. Strong organizational and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Data-driven mindset with a focus on adoption, measurable impact, operational efficiency, and ROI. Experience working in cybersecurity, SaaS, enterprise software, or technical sales organizations. Prior experience supporting Systems Engineers, Solution Architects, Sales Engineers, or other pre-sales technical roles. Experience with enablement platforms such as Adobe or Seismic, knowledge management systems, demo environments, lab environments, CRM tools, or field productivity platforms. Experience building adoption plans, change management programs, or internal launch plans for new tools. Why Proofpoint?
