[Remote] Graduate - Senior Engineer Systems
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infineon Technologies is a global leader in semiconductor solutions focused on power systems and IoT. They are seeking a Graduate Senior Engineer Systems to conduct EMC testing, perform signal integrity simulations, and collaborate with IC design teams on new products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct EMC measurements and analysis for automotive Ethernet products
- Perform signal integrity and power integrity simulations for high‑speed PCBs and packages
- Develop and maintain channel and device models (S‑parameters, IBIS‑AMI) for high‑speed interfaces
- Correlate simulations with measurements using VNA, TDR, and spectrum analyzers
- Review and drive SI/PI sign‑off for internal high‑speed PCB designs
- Define PCB and package stack‑ups, material selection, and design guidelines
- Partner with IC design teams to define EMC specifications for new products
Skills
- 1+ year of work experience in high‑speed SI/PI and EMC‑related fields
- Major in high‑speed SI/PI, EMC, or a related discipline
- Experience with simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS and Keysight ADS
- Familiarity with lab equipment including VNA, TDR, and high‑speed oscilloscopes
- Experience in high‑speed digital system design, including PCB and package design
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, and antenna theory
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team‑oriented mindset
- Hands‑on proficiency with Python and MATLAB for automation and data analysis
