[Remote] Business Development Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Commonwealth Pest Management is a locally owned and family-operated pest control company serving various counties. They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to help expand their commercial customer base by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and scheduling appointments for the owner.
Responsibilities
- Prospect commercial businesses and organizations
- Contact property managers, apartment communities, HOAs, warehouses, manufacturers, office facilities, and other commercial prospects
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking
- Build and maintain prospect lists
- Schedule qualified appointments with decision makers
- Track outreach activity and opportunities
- Represent Commonwealth Pest Management professionally within the community
- Attend occasional networking events and business meetings
Skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Comfortable introducing yourself to new contacts and developing business relationships
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in sales, business development, property management, real estate, insurance, customer service, or a related field is a plus
- Existing local business relationships are highly valued
