[Remote] Enterprise Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Journey is a fast-growing logistics technology company seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive. The role focuses on acquiring new freight brokerage relationships through a consultative, value-driven approach, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
Responsibilities
- Seek, qualify, and close new business with freight brokerages, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
- Build and maintain an active pipeline to ensure year-over-year revenue growth
- Generate pipeline through consistent multi-channel outreach, including but not limited to cold calling, email, LinkedIn messaging, video outreach, and networking
- Conduct discovery meetings, ROI analysis, product demonstrations, pilot scoping, and negotiations
- Build and manage relationships with operational leaders, pricing teams, technology stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Develop strategic account plans for target enterprise prospects
- Maintain accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management throughout the sales process
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns and lead follow-up while maintaining a strong self-sourced pipeline
- Represent the company at industry events including TIA, FreightWaves, Manifest, and other conferences
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Leadership to support customer acquisition and long-term growth
Skills
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience, selling into freight brokerages, 3PLs, or logistics providers
- Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals and managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows
- Strong familiarity with industry technology, including TMS, pricing tools, automation, or workflow software
- Ability to productively work remotely and operate independently
- Freight Tech Sales experience
- Experience using Salesforce and modern sales engagement platforms (Apollo, Sales Navigator, Gong)
