[Remote] Product Manager

Attain Finance is a leading consumer credit lender with over 50 years of expertise in providing credit solutions across the U.S. They are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to drive the delivery of impactful software solutions by translating business needs into actionable user stories and requirements. The role involves collaborating with various teams to launch scalable products and features that enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development
• Craft high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria that reflect customer needs and technical feasibility
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements
• Translate business, regulatory, and analytical needs into clear, actionable data requirements, defining data definitions, source‑of‑truth systems, quality standards, and acceptance criteria across data capture, transformation, and reporting
• Act as the voice of the customer in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, design, QA, and business teams to ensure alignment and transparency
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing by ensuring test scenarios align with business requirements and that feedback is captured and addressed
• Work closely with stakeholders to plan, pilot, and roll out new software features, ensuring smooth adoption and measurable impact
• Monitor product performance and user feedback to iterate and improve features and workflows

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in an agile software development environment
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle management
• Exceptional ability to write clear, concise, and actionable user stories
• Demonstrated success in gathering and translating requirements into technical deliverables
• Strong familiarity of data concepts, including data modeling, metrics, and analytics workflows
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and analysis
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience working with financial products and services, including regulatory and compliance considerations
• Familiarity with data governance, regulatory reporting, and compliance considerations
• Experience working closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Science teams
• Certification in product management or equivalent
