Responsibilities

  • Defining and executing a comprehensive Army Business Development strategy aligned to modernization priorities
  • Building and maintaining a qualified pipeline across C5ISR, ground combat platforms, and soldier systems
  • Driving senior level relationships across Army stakeholders and key decision makers
  • Positioning the company for near, mid, and long term growth across Army programs
  • Strengthening alignment across Army and Navy portfolios where program dependencies exist
  • Ensuring coordination across Business Development, capture, and delivery teams to support growth objectives
  • Develop and maintain the company’s Army growth strategy aligned to modernization priorities and evolving customer needs
  • Identify areas of underrepresentation and define clear pathways for expansion across Army programs
  • Advise leadership on growth priorities, positioning, and investment focus
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Army organizations including DEVCOM and associated entities
  • Engage senior leaders at O6 level or above to influence positioning and opportunity development
  • Strengthen the company’s access, credibility, and visibility within the Army customer base
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities across Army programs
  • Lead capture activities including win strategy, positioning, and competitive differentiation
  • Support pursuit efforts with clear alignment to customer priorities and program objectives
  • Drive expansion across ground combat platforms and associated weapons systems
  • Increase the company’s presence across Army platform modernization and prototyping initiatives
  • Support broader portfolio alignment across Defense business lines
  • Partner with Navy Business Development leadership to ensure alignment across portfolios
  • Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams including microelectronics capabilities
  • Align Business Development, capture, and delivery teams around a unified growth strategy

Skills

  • 7 plus years of experience in defense, national security, or Department of Defense Growth and Operations roles with at least 3 years in a growth role (i.e., business development, capture, or solutioning)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting United States Army programs
  • Deep relationships within Army DEVCOM and C5ISR environments
  • Established network at O6 level or above or equivalent
  • Proven track record of originating and capturing new business opportunities
  • Strong understanding of Army modernization priorities
  • Experience across ground combat platforms and weapons systems
  • Experience supporting Army as well as Navy or Combatant Command programs
  • Background in engineering services or microelectronics environments
  • Experience operating within organizations undergoing strategic transformation
  • Experience working across complex, cross functional business environments
