[Remote] Account Executive, SLED (Texas)

Pure Storage is reshaping the data storage industry, and they are seeking an Account Executive to help architect the data center of the future for State, Local, and Education (SLED) institutions. In this role, you will lead the mission to modernize public sector infrastructure and drive sales growth while building lasting partnerships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own Territory Growth: Drive the end-to-end sales cycle within the SLED sector, identifying and securing new logo opportunities while expanding existing accounts to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Evangelize Everpure™ Solutions: Position the Everpure™ Platform and our all-flash technology as the superior choice for public sector needs, translating complex technical benefits into clear, compelling value propositions for diverse stakeholders
- Orchestrate Strategic Pursuits: Lead pursuit teams—including technical experts, product managers, and channel partners—to design and execute account plans that solve persistent customer challenges and ensure long-term success
- Build Lasting Partnerships: Cultivate deep-rooted relationships from the data center to the boardroom, establishing Everpure™ as a trusted advisor and maintaining the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry
Skills
- Proven success navigating the SLED procurement process, including deep experience with RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations, alongside an understanding of working with Federal system integrators
- A 'Challenger Mindset' with the ability to use customer insights and a hunter's instinct to prospect new logos and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building internal and external partnerships, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue, leveraging CRM tools to track success and consistently delivering referenceable business results
