[Remote] Judicial Campaign Finance Committee

Chambers Capital Ventures, Inc. is overseeing the financial and compliance aspects of a judicial campaign through the Judicial Campaign Finance Committee. The committee is responsible for developing fundraising strategies, coordinating donor outreach, monitoring contributions, and ensuring compliance with campaign finance laws.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing fundraising strategies
  • Coordinating donor outreach
  • Organizing virtual and in-person fundraising events in collaboration with campaign staff and volunteers
  • Monitoring contributions and expenditures
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable campaign finance laws and reporting requirements
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records
  • Preparing regular financial reports
  • Advising the campaign on budgeting and cash flow
  • Working closely with legal and compliance advisors to minimize risk
  • Serving as a key liaison with donors, community stakeholders, and campaign leadership to support ethical, transparent, and effective campaign finance operations

Skills

  • Strong foundation in Law and familiarity with campaign finance regulations, political compliance requirements, and ethical standards
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder outreach, and the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences
  • Customer Service skills for building and maintaining positive relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders
  • Critical Thinking skills to evaluate complex regulatory guidance, assess financial risks, and make sound, timely decisions
  • Research skills to interpret relevant statutes, monitor regulatory updates, and benchmark best practices in judicial campaign finance
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to transparency and compliance in all financial activities
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic accounting or finance software; comfort working in a remote, technology-enabled environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven experience in campaign finance, political campaigns, nonprofit fundraising, or related fields is strongly preferred
