[Remote] Content Creator

Remote Full-time Live

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Deel is an all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, seeking a Social Content Creator to drive their brand's social-first storytelling. The role involves end-to-end content creation, understanding platform dynamics, and collaborating closely with the marketing team to produce engaging content that resonates with their audience.

Responsibilities

  • Come with ideas. You're pitching original content concepts constantly—not waiting for a brief, but spotting what would work for Deel's audience
  • Produce content end-to-end. Scripting, shooting (on-camera as the talent when needed), editing, publishing. You're using tools efficiently and not being precious about production value when speed and authenticity matters more
  • Understand each platform like you built it. You know that Instagram and TikTok are completely different beasts. You're optimizing for platform culture, not just algorithm metrics. You understand what audiences care about vs. what's just noise
  • Chase trends with good judgment. You're monitoring what's happening, but evaluating everything through a Deel lens. Does this conversation matter to our audience? Can we add something real to it? Or is this just noise? You balance moving fast with keeping the brand coherent and safe
  • Build formats that work. You're constantly experimenting to find what performs—hooks that work, storytelling structures that land, content series that build momentum. When you find something, you make it repeatable so the team can scale without losing quality
  • Brief and collaborate on bigger productions. When you're working with the Brand Marketing team or Influencer Manager on larger productions or creator collaborations, you bring creative perspective. You brief talent clearly, give real feedback (not just a thumbs up), and make sure the work reflects Deel's standards
  • Stay curious about what's changing. Algorithm shifts, new features, emerging creators, how your audience thinks about work and hiring—you're tracking it all. You translate these insights into actionable creative direction for the team
  • Know what's working and why. You're analyzing performance data consistently. You understand which metrics matter and which don't. You communicate learnings to the team and iterate quickly based on evidence, not hunches
