[Remote] Vice President Finance

Spot Your Leaders & Consulting is seeking a strategic and analytical Vice President of Finance to lead financial operations for the Americas region. In this role, you will collaborate with executive leadership to drive financial strategy, optimize profitability, and ensure compliance with financial governance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated financial co-pilot to the Americas leadership team, translating regional business strategies into actionable, high-growth financial maps
- Provide critical decision support for strategic initiatives, including cross-border IT delivery modeling, new market entries, and potential M&A/deal integrations
- Act as a bridge between regional business operations and global corporate finance headquarters
- Partner with sales and account management teams to review, structure, and price complex, multi-million dollar IT services contracts (e.g., Time & Material, Fixed-Price, Managed Services models)
- Conduct margin analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling for prospective client contracts to ensure sustainable profitability
- Own the annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and financial planning processes for the Americas entity
- Deliver deep-dive analysis on cost planning, bench management/utilization rates, resource pyramids, and operational variance to optimize the cost-to-serve
- Develop intuitive executive dashboards tracking SaaS/IT metrics, KPIs, and operational performance
- Direct strategies to optimize cash flow, manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and mitigate collections risks unique to the North American corporate market
- Oversee strategic financing arrangements, capital allocation, and treasury management within the region
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations in North America, while navigating transfer pricing arrangements between onshore (US) and offshore (Asia/Europe) delivery centers
- Oversee corporate secretarial duties, localized legal entity maintenance, and statutory requirements for the region
Skills
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a heavy emphasis on Global IT Services, Software, or ITES industries
- Proven track record managing finance functions across international borders, specifically covering North America, Asia, and Europe
- Master's degree in finance, MBA, or professional certification such as a CPA, CA, or CFA
- Exceptional proficiency in FP&A, financial structuring, and margin management within a utilization-driven business model
- Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles for software and professional IT services
- Experience with working capital optimization and corporate secretarial governance
- Mastery of enterprise ERP environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced financial modeling, and BI tools
