Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Adhere to all applicable FDCPA, state, and local regulations, as outlined in the arenaflex Compliance with FDCPA and State Collection Laws Statement and the arenaflex A/R Training program.
  • Engage customers via phone, email, or secure messaging to discuss outstanding balances, understand their circumstances, and negotiate payment arrangements that align with both the customer’s ability and the client’s objectives.
  • Document every interaction accurately in the arenaflex system, ensuring that notes are concise, complete, and compliant with audit standards.
  • Identify and correct any deficiencies flagged during telephone monitoring, file reviews, or quality assurance audits, working closely with supervisors to continuously improve performance.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor in high‑stress situations, especially when dealing with emotionally charged callers.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, including call volume, resolution rate, and collection targets.
  • Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to share best practices, support one another during peak periods, and contribute to a positive, team‑oriented culture.
  • Participate in paid on‑site training sessions twice a month after the initial onboarding period, applying new skills and knowledge to real‑world scenarios.
  • Uphold arenaflex’s attendance, punctuality, and break policies, ensuring reliability for both customers and internal partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, such as assisting with special projects, data analysis, or process improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in finance, business, or communications are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay engaged on the phone for extended periods without distraction, delivering consistent, high‑quality service.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with multiple windows, tabs, and CRM platforms; ability to navigate the arenaflex system efficiently.
  • Exceptional attendance record, reflecting reliability and commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Clear, articulate communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
  • Basic understanding of debt collection regulations (FDCPA) and a willingness to learn arenaflex‑specific compliance procedures.
