WordPress/WooCommerce Developer (Part Time and/or Full-Time)

We are seeking to add a part time and/or full-time, experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer to our team. The developer will work closely with our development team to oversee/maintain/improve our WordPress/WooCommerce installation and well as deliver functionality. If you are not passionate about WordPress and WooCommerce and can not show a high level understanding of both, this is not the job... for you. Duties/Responsibilities • Custom development of WordPress plugins and/or custom functionality as needed • Provide general support for site upkeep and maintenance • Build, support and maintain/debug API integrations as needed • Manage WordPress core and plugin updates via versioning in GIT • Support and maintain site performance via complex caching as we add new features and plugins • Support and maintain/ help develop backend functionality as needed • Support debugging and testing/QA both on production and staging

Qualifications

• Must be US based, English Fluent in EST or CST time zones

• Must be proficient in JS, JSON, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, HTML, APIs and CSS • You must be able to show several plugins or custom applications that you have built and maintained • Must have the ability to run Shell commands commands as needed • Must be able to show a GIT profile or something similar so we can review past projects • Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines • Strong teamwork skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment • Detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills. Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure • Ability to lead staff, institute processes and establish work discipline • Must be highly self-accountable, ability to work both independently and in a team environment • Ability to project manage • Good problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to work with Slack, Gsheets and Trello • Can work remotely Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. College degree a plus

• Must have at least 7 years experience in all required languages • Must be highly proficient and have a high level understanding of WooCommerce and WordPress • Must be highly proficient with GIT • Must have previous experience working with a team of developers Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $100.00 per hour Schedule: • 4 hour shift • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Application Question(s): • Are you based in the USA currently living in EST or CST and English Fluent?
