San Francisco, California - Telemedicine Primary Care Physician

Seeking Independent Telemedicine Family/Internal Medicine Providers Circle Medical is an adult-only primary care practice committed to the empanelment of PCPs resulting in high quality, continuity of care for our patients through a telemedicine-first approach. We are an evidence-based practice that leverages our proprietary, HIPAA-compliant EHR that ensures a delightful and safe experience for patients and providers via two-way, video-audio appointments. Please find out more about us on our website. Compensation is structured as fee-for-service. MD/DOs are paid $50 per completed encounter, plus eligibility for incentives. Fully empaneled PCPs typically earn the equivalent of $100–$200 per hour based on visit volume and mix (15–30 minute visits). There is no guaranteed minimum compensation or required visit volume. Physicians may elect to provide telemedicine services according to their availability and may also elect to schedule in-person clinic sessions at our San Francisco location by selecting from available clinic blocks, at their discretion, that meet their scheduling preferences. Physicians receive a $350 flat stipend for each in-person session they elect to schedule, in addition to per-encounter compensation. At all times, physicians independently control the manner and means by which they deliver services, including clinical judgment, scheduling decisions, and acceptance of service opportunities. Physicians are free to work for other medical practices and are not subject to exclusivity.

We deliver a true Primary Care Experience rooted in provider empanelment and continuity of care We are a 7-day-a-week operation offering PCPs the freedom to set their own reoccurring schedules within any combination of days, including evenings and weekends. Independent PCPs are also supported by a strong team of patient care advocates and a licensed medical clinical team who work with you to ensure our patients get the care and follow-up they need. We require a high degree of technical skill utilizing software and an open mind to fast-paced improvements driven by our technical team. We are in network with most PPO insurance plans and help our patients understand their coverage so that providers can focus on what is most important. Education & licenses required for this position

• Completed an accredited medical program with a national certification
• Currently licensed in CA and one of the following states: AZ, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, KY, ME, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, NM, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, and WI with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
• Valid California DEA Registration in good standing with all schedules to prescribe medications, including S2
• Ideal candidates will have experience as primary care providers in a clinical setting
• At least 3 years post-residency practice experience is strongly preferred
• Must be Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine
• Willingness to learn how to diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions
• A PC with Windows 11 Pro or a Mac newer than 2020 is required
