We are currently seeking a seasoned Enterprise Customer Engineer with deep expertise in data analytics to join our North America Technical Team. In this role, you will partner closely with technical sales professionals, product managers, and engineering teams to showcase the unique value of arenaflex Cloud, design robust data solutions, and guide customers through complex migrations and modernizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Customer Engagement: Work with sales and solution teams across North America to identify, qualify, and prioritize business opportunities, translating customer pain points into actionable technical strategies.
  • Technical Advocacy & Thought Leadership: Serve as the go‑to data analytics subject matter expert, delivering compelling product briefings, proof‑of‑concept (POC) demonstrations, and white‑paper presentations that illustrate arenaflex Cloud’s differentiators.
  • Solution Architecture & Design: Conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions, capture detailed business and technical requirements, and architect end‑to‑end data solutions—including data warehouses, data lakes, streaming pipelines, and ETL/ELT workflows—tailored to each customer’s unique environment.
  • Hands‑On Implementation Support: Guide customers through data migration, schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning, ensuring seamless transitions to arenaflex Cloud while maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Collaboration with Product Management: Provide direct feedback on feature gaps, emerging market trends, and customer challenges, influencing the product roadmap and helping prioritize enhancements that accelerate adoption.
  • Bid & Proposal Assistance: Contribute technical expertise to bid responses, request‑for‑information (RFI) submissions, and competitive positioning documents, helping win strategic enterprise contracts.
  • Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior engineers, lead internal workshops, and contribute to the development of best‑practice documentation and reusable solution templates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, or supporting cloud‑native architectures in a customer‑facing or technical support capacity.
  • Proven ability to engage and present to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership, translating complex concepts into clear business value.
  • Solid foundation in Big Data technologies and concepts, including data warehousing, data processing, transformation, governance, migrations, ETL/ELT, SQL, NoSQL, and performance or scalability optimization for batch and streaming workloads.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical sales, consulting, or pre‑sales engineering within cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data domains.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecture design, schema development, and query optimization for large‑scale, distributed data systems.
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, storage, platform services, and the broader cloud market—including competitive dynamics and customer buying behavior.
  • Hands‑on experience building data warehouses, data lakes, real‑time event processing pipelines, streaming architectures, and data visualization solutions on cloud‑native platforms.
  • Ability to dissect complex customer requirements, break them down into actionable technical components, and design robust, scalable architectures that meet both short‑term and long‑term goals.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of cloud services (compute, storage, networking), data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift equivalents), and analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Programming & Scripting: Strong command of SQL, Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation, pipeline development, and automation.
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical mindset, capable of diagnosing complex technical issues, proposing innovative solutions, and driving them to resolution.
  • Collaboration: Team‑oriented attitude, comfortable working across cross‑functional groups, including sales, product, engineering, and support.
  • Customer‑Centric Focus: Empathy for customer challenges, a proactive approach to uncovering hidden needs, and a commitment to delivering measurable business outcomes.
