Position Overview
The Remote Customer Experience Specialist serves as the first point of contact for members and providers who reach out to arenaflex via telephone and email. In this dynamic role, you will answer inbound calls, input data with precision, and consistently deliver a high level of customer service that reflects the professionalism, courtesy, and care that define the arenaflex brand. You will handle a wide range of customer service inquiries and problems, effectively recording all communications accurately and consistently within our systems.
While the majority of calls you receive will be routine in nature, the role occasionally requires you to deviate from standard screens, scripts, and procedures in order to address unique customer needs. You will use a computerized system to track calls, gather information, troubleshoot issues, assess customer needs, explain programs, and suggest or promote alternative products and services that may benefit the caller. Your ability to balance efficiency with empathy will be the key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, Evaluate, and Prioritize Caller Needs: Quickly assess each caller’s questions, concerns, and underlying needs to determine the most appropriate path forward.
- Formulate Plans of Resolution: Develop effective, tailored solutions and respond to inquiries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Maintain and Restore Customer Satisfaction: Proactively work to resolve issues and partner with other teams within arenaflex as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Perform Problem Analysis and Determination: Conduct thorough analysis of each situation, determine the root cause, and recommend appropriate resolutions in accordance with standard protocol.
- Proactively Educate Callers: Take every opportunity to inform and educate callers about program benefits, available services, and additional resources that may meet their needs.
- Meet and Exceed Performance Metrics: Consistently achieve or surpass established call center metrics, attendance standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Accurate Documentation: Use computer tools to process, document, and track information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build Rapport and Adjust Communication Style: Develop a genuine connection with callers and adapt your communication approach based on the personality, tone, and needs of each individual.
- Provide Accurate Program Information: Deliver clear, accurate, and up-to-date information about arenaflex programs and services.
- Escalate and Follow Up: Identify situations that require escalation, route them to the appropriate internal teams, and follow up diligently to ensure timely resolution.
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer service-related field is preferred, though motivated candidates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and empathetically.
