Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, customer-centric, and sales-driven professional to join arenaflex as a Customer Sales and Service Representative. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the voice of arenaflex, engaging directly with our valued customers through inbound calls to address inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide tailored solutions that meet their unique connectivity needs. Combining your superior sales and customer service skills with an excitement for technology, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience that pairs seamlessly with the most reliable and advanced network in the industry.

Our customers rely on arenaflex to keep them connected to what matters most. Whether they have questions about their service, need help troubleshooting an issue, or are looking to enhance their current plan, you will be the trusted partner they turn to. This is a remote role where you will work from the comfort of your home with occasional in-person trainings and team meetings designed to foster collaboration, celebrate wins, and align on shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Sales and Service Representative at arenaflex, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Customer Inquiry Management: Answer incoming calls from customers promptly and professionally, responding to a wide range of requests related to service installation, disconnection, modifications, upgrades, and account changes.
  • Relationship Building: Instill confidence and long-term loyalty in customers through thoughtful, empathetic listening, utilizing your deep knowledge of arenaflex products and services to effectively service, retain, and delight customers.
  • Proactive Sales Engagement: Identify customer needs and proactively offer arenaflex products and services that align with their goals, working to meet or exceed monthly sales targets while ultimately delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and disputes related to service, billing, rates, adjustments, and policy issues with accuracy, empathy, and a commitment to first-call resolution.
  • Product and Service Expertise: Respond to requests from customers about arenaflex products, services, promotions, and features, providing clear, accurate, and comprehensive information that enables informed decision-making.
  • Order Accuracy and Verification: Verify the accuracy and completeness of service orders, making necessary corrections and changes as needed to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service activation.
  • Collections and Negotiation: Professionally negotiate the collection of overdue bills, working with customers to identify appropriate payment arrangements while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Flexibility in Scheduling: Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts as determined by the evolving needs of the business, demonstrating a commitment to team and customer support.
  • Systems and Tools Management: Effectively manage various systems, databases, and work tools while engaging on the phone with customers, maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout each interaction.

What We Are Looking For

You are a true consultative salesperson who is energized by meeting sales goals and building meaningful relationships with customers. You take a deep interest in learning about your customers, understanding their business challenges, and staying current on industry trends that impact their connectivity decisions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where urgency and adaptability are essential, and you have no problem juggling multiple priorities simultaneously. Your empathy and exceptional communication skills make it possible for you to diffuse sensitive situations with grace, and you take real ownership of customer concerns, driven by a desire to provide exceptional service in every interaction. While you are motivated to meet your daily sales goals, you never lose sight of the bigger picture: helping our customers stay connected to what matters most in their lives and businesses.

Even Better If You Have

  • A related Associate Degree, or 2+ years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Prior customer service experience in a call center or high-volume contact environment.
  • Previous collections experience, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate payment arrangements professionally and empathetically.
  • Demonstrated experience selling products and services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate with detail, clarity, and precision, both verbally and in writing.

Additional Requirements

  • You must live within 75 miles of the current reporting location for the duration of the contract.
  • You must be available to attend occasional in-person team huddles, trainings, and meetings at the office location as required by the business.
  • You must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts.
  • You must successfully complete the required pre-employment assessments, including the SACS HTML Results test.

Scheduled Weekly Hours

This is a full-time position with a scheduled workweek of 37.5 hours. Please note that flexibility is required, as the role may involve working evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts based on the needs of the business.
