Role Overview

This is a part‑time, remote, and flexible position. You will work from anywhere, setting your own schedule within a weekly pay cycle that runs from Monday to Sunday. The role is compensated at $12.50 per hour, with weekly payouts to ensure timely recognition of your contributions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live chat streams on the arenaflex Discord server, promptly identifying and removing messages that violate community guidelines.
• Enforce moderation policies by issuing bans, temporary mutes, or warnings to users who repeatedly breach rules.
• Investigate user‑submitted reports, gathering context, reviewing chat logs, and determining appropriate actions based on established protocols.
• Collaborate with the arenaflex Community Management team to refine moderation guidelines, ensuring they evolve with community needs.
• Maintain detailed moderation logs, documenting incidents, actions taken, and outcomes for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback to community members, helping them understand expectations and encouraging positive participation.
• Participate in periodic virtual training sessions to stay current on best practices in online safety, harassment prevention, and conflict resolution.
• Assist in the creation of educational resources—such as FAQs, rule summaries, and tutorial videos—to empower users to self‑moderate responsibly.

Essential Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possession of a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in online community moderation, customer support, or a related field, preferably within Discord or similar chat platforms.
• Strong understanding of Discord’s features, including roles, permissions, bots, and moderation tools.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey rules and feedback clearly and courteously.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
