Training Specialist - Cybersecurity Awareness
Role Title: Training Specialist - Cybersecurity Awareness Location: REMOTE Position Type: 6 + month contract – good chance of long term extensions
Requirements
Training Specialists with strong background in cybersecurity awareness and behavior-based training who can bridge security, learning, and program execution. This individual should be able to evaluate vendor-provided content, align it to enterprise risk priorities, and drive measurable behavior change through structured training and assessment. Key Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in cybersecurity awareness, human risk, or security behavior programs
- Background in behavior change or learning design
- Ability to align training to risk outcomes and business needs
- Experience designing surveys and measuring effectiveness
Key Responsibilities
Training Audit & Alignment
- Review internal security training and standards
- Audit vendor content and map it to audiences
- Identify gaps and adjust training program to target key behaviors
Program Planning & Design
- Build the full rollout plan across vendors and phases
- Curate the training modules and simulation library
- Structure baseline measurement and follow up testing
Deployment & Execution
- Conduct baseline testing with Technology Services & Privileged Users
- Launch core HRM training curriculum across vendors
- Coordinate communications, assignments, and rollout logistics
