Our North America Technical Team is expanding, and we are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Customer Engineer who will serve as a data analytics subject‑matter expert. In this role, you will partner closely with technical sales teams, product managers, and engineering specialists to showcase the power of arenaflex Cloud, design bespoke data solutions, and drive adoption across a diverse set of industries.

Role Overview
As an Enterprise Customer Engineer for Data Analytics, you will act as the technical bridge between arenaflex Cloud’s capabilities and the strategic objectives of our customers. You will:
- Collaborate with sales and solution teams to uncover business challenges and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design, prototype, and demonstrate end‑to‑end data architectures that leverage arenaflex Cloud’s analytics, warehousing, and streaming services.
- Lead proof‑of‑concept (PoC) engagements, guide data migration strategies, and troubleshoot complex data‑life‑cycle issues.
- Present compelling technical narratives to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership, highlighting ROI, performance gains, and scalability.
- Provide feedback to product management, influencing roadmap priorities and ensuring that new features address real‑world customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Solution Design
- Partner with customers across North America to identify, qualify, and prioritize data‑centric business opportunities.
- Conduct deep‑dive discovery sessions to capture functional and non‑functional requirements, data governance policies, and compliance constraints.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost‑effective solutions that incorporate data lakes, warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and real‑time streaming components on arenaflex Cloud.
- Develop detailed technical designs, including schema definitions, data models, and query‑optimization strategies.
Technical Advocacy & Enablement
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering product briefings, whitepapers, and technical demos that illustrate arenaflex Cloud’s differentiators.
- Support bid responses, request‑for‑information (RFI) submissions, and competitive positioning against rival platforms.
- Lead PoC initiatives, configure environments, and validate performance benchmarks to prove solution viability.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the technical sales community.
Collaboration with Product & Engineering
- Provide direct feedback to product management on feature gaps, emerging customer requirements, and usability enhancements.
- Participate in internal forums to influence the product roadmap, ensuring that upcoming releases align with market demand.
- Help triage technical blockers that may impede large‑scale data migrations or workload transformations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting cloud‑native architectures in a customer‑facing or technical support role.
- Proven ability to engage with and present to technical stakeholders as well as executive leadership.
- Hands‑on experience with Big Data technologies or concepts, including but not limited to analytics warehousing, data processing, transformation, governance, migrations, ETL/ELT, SQL/NoSQL, performance tuning, and batch versus streaming workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in technical sales or consulting within cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data domains.
- Demonstrated expertise in architecture design, schema development, and query optimization for distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, storage, platform services, and the broader cloud market dynamics.
- Experience building data warehouses, data lakes, real‑time event processing pipelines, and data visualization solutions on cloud‑native platforms.
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements into clear, actionable technical designs.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Data Engineering & Architecture: Proficiency with tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
- Programming & Scripting: Strong command of Python, Java, or Scala for data pipeline development.
- SQL & NoSQL Mastery: Ability to write performant queries, design indexes, and optimize data models.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands‑on experience with arenaflex Cloud services (compute, storage, networking, security) and familiarity with multi‑cloud environments.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, capable of simplifying technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with a track record of diagnosing and resolving complex data‑related issues.
- Collaboration: Team‑oriented attitude, comfortable working across sales, product, and engineering functions.

- Base Salary: Ranges from $159,000 to $239,000, calibrated by location, experience, and skill set.
