About the Role

As an iOS Software Engineer on the Home team at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of innovation in smart home technology. Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development & Innovation: Design, develop, and maintain new features for the iOS Home application, with a particular focus on HomeKit security cameras and video processing capabilities.
• Video Performance Optimization: Deliver the best possible software performance, including fast live video start times and lightning-quick access to recorded video footage, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for end users.
• Framework Development: Build and enhance frameworks and APIs that are utilized by other engineering teams across arenaflex, promoting code reuse and architectural excellence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other iOS engineering groups, Human Interface Designers, Privacy specialists, Security experts, and partner organizations to deliver cohesive, world-class products.
• System-Level Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across OS software layers, including memory management, CPU utilization, and network efficiency.
• Code Quality & Maintenance: Maintain and continuously improve existing features while implementing fresh, innovative ideas that push the boundaries of what is possible in the smart home space.
• Privacy & Security Focus: Ensure all development adheres to the highest standards of user privacy and data security, particularly given the sensitive nature of home security video content.

Essential Qualifications
