They are seeking a Financial Analyst to support business planning and decision-making processes, focusing on financial analysis, cost management, and budgeting across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis to support business planning and decision making by presenting insights and recommendations to management
  • Develop and manage standard costs for new and existing items
  • Complete month-end close tasks, including monthly financial reports for the Executive Leadership Team and various Business Units
  • Assist with procurement analysis and related projects including but not limited to spend analysis
  • Partner with Logistics department to provide an in-depth financial analysis of actual spend on transportation costs
  • Assist with Product and Customer P&Ls, assessing their profitability
  • Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, manufacturing, and continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in preparing and compiling annual budgeting and multi-year planning processes for assigned categories of the P&L
  • Utilize enterprise systems to consolidate data from various systems
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and variance analysis upon request

Skills

  • Strong Excel skills with experience in preparing financial reporting, analyzing financial data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and working experience with an ERP system
  • Excellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial analysis, experience in manufacturing industry is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or can demonstrate experience in relevant areas)
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, project-driven, real-time team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Cost accounting experience and knowledge of standard costing is preferred
  • Food and beverage industry experience and manufacturing facility oversight preferred
