The role involves coordinating across various teams, managing vendors, and ensuring the reliability and performance of operational programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own data center operations programs from hardware bring up through steady state
  • Build and maintain integrated operational schedules across facilities, network, and hardware
  • Establish program governance including milestone gates, incident and change review cadences, change control, and decision logs that create accountability without overhead
  • Own the template and standard program, build the playbooks, and create the systems that let engineers focus on engineering
  • Identify risks, interdependencies, and blockers ahead of time so nothing is unforeseen
  • Drive incident response and post mortem processes to closure across teams
  • Tie operational work back to business outcomes and customer commitments

Skills

  • You've run technical program management for complex infrastructure or operations programs, ideally data center or large capital projects
  • You build integrated schedules across many technical disciplines and hold them
  • You establish program governance that adds accountability, not bureaucracy
  • You build playbooks, templates, and systems that let technical teams move faster
  • You see risks and dependencies before they bite and drive them to resolution
  • Keep facilities, engineering, and executive audiences aligned under pressure
  • High ownership and comfort with ambiguity, with strong prioritization across multiple concurrent programs
