[Remote] Vertex SAP Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tekgence Inc is seeking a Vertex SAP Consultant with strong experience in SAP tax architecture and Vertex tax engine solutions. The consultant will support SAP–Vertex integrations, troubleshoot tax determination issues, and maintain Vertex configurations across Finance, Sales, and Procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Support and resolve SAP–Vertex integration issues
- Maintain Vertex configurations and tax content updates
- Monitor interfaces and troubleshoot transaction errors
- Perform testing for enhancements and Vertex updates
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Business teams
- Coordinate with Vertex support for issue resolution
Skills
- Hands-on experience with Vertex O Series or Vertex Cloud
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and FI modules
- Experience with tax determination, taxability rules, product tax codes, and jurisdiction codes
- Troubleshooting SAP–Vertex integrations, RFCs, IDocs, APIs, CPI/PI interfaces
- Knowledge of Sales & Use Tax, GST, and VAT concepts
- Experience with incident management, production support, testing, and release activities
