As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be the backbone of the inbound freight workflow, ensuring that every appointment, cost entry, and audit is captured flawlessly. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of the transportation network, the satisfaction of our carrier partners, and the bottom line of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Appointment Management: Accurately enter, modify, and cancel inbound warehouse appointments using arenaflex’s proprietary scheduling platform (formerly known as One Network) and the arenaflex High Jump system.
  • Freight Cost Auditing: Perform detailed audits of inbound freight charges by reconciling data between the Transportation Management System (TMS) and the arenaflex Buyer Portal, identifying discrepancies, and documenting findings.
  • Cost Editing & Updates: Execute periodic freight cost edits within the arenaflex Buyer Portal, ensuring that all cost records reflect the most current rates, contracts, and carrier agreements.
  • Data Integrity Assurance: Conduct routine quality‑control checks to verify that all entered data meets arenaflex’s high standards for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Web Application Navigation: Efficiently navigate multiple web‑based tools and dashboards, switching seamlessly between systems while maintaining focus and precision.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with transportation coordinators, carrier representatives, and internal stakeholders to resolve appointment conflicts, clarify cost questions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate concise reports summarizing audit results, appointment trends, and cost adjustments for senior logistics analysts and management review.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in data entry, logistics support, or a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation) and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to type at least 70 WPM with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of delivering error‑free work in fast‑moving environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of spotting inconsistencies and resolving them quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with internal teams and external carriers.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a 100 % remote setting, while adhering to established deadlines.

  • Experience with transportation management software (e.g., TMS platforms) or freight audit tools.
  • Familiarity with supply‑chain terminology such as bill of lading, carrier contracts, and freight classification.
  • Prior exposure to arenaflex’s scheduling platforms (formerly One Network) or similar appointment‑booking systems.
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for creating audit summaries.
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues within web applications and report larger problems to IT support.
