Our Retail Customer Service Associates are the front‑line ambassadors of arenaflex. You will guide customers through a diverse portfolio of services—from high‑quality printing and custom signage to secure shipping and logistics. By leveraging consultative selling techniques, you will anticipate needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure each interaction ends with a delighted customer. Key Responsibilities

People & Team Collaboration

  • Follow the direction of store supervisors and support teammates in daily store operations.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new associates, sharing best practices and product knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace where every team member feels valued.

Customer Service & Consultation

  • Engage customers with a consultative approach, uncovering their unique requirements for print, signage, graphics, and shipping.
  • Provide expert guidance on arenaflex product lines, recommending the most appropriate services and alternatives.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Accurately capture complex orders using arenaflex’s order management system, delivering precise pricing and turnaround estimates.
  • Prepare parcels for shipment—wrap items, select appropriate containers, weigh packages, and affix labels in compliance with safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain printing, binding, and finishing equipment, handling customer‑supplied media with care and precision.

Operational Excellence & Profitability

  • Safeguard confidential customer data and handle documents, media, and packages with the utmost discretion.
  • Process financial transactions through the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and change making.
  • Maintain and restock all retail printing and shipping equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay current on merchandising displays, ensuring product signage is accurate, attractive, and up‑to‑date.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reduce waste, prevent errors, and improve efficiency.
  • Complete daily financial paperwork, assist with sales reporting, close‑outs, and bank deposits as needed.
  • Adhere to arenaflex standard operating procedures, as well as legal, HR, safety, and security policies.

Self‑Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
  • Seek out learning opportunities—attend product trainings, cross‑train in other store areas, and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Operate with minimal supervision, taking ownership of responsibilities and delivering results.
  • Uphold arenaflex team member standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Perform any additional duties as required to support store success.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 months of specialized retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in a print, graphics, or shipping environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
  • Physical ability to stand for the duration of a shift, lift up to 55 lb, and frequently bend or twist at the waist and knees.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting while maintaining composure and focus.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and the capacity to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Reliability in attendance and punctuality, adhering to established business hours.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience operating digital printers, large‑format plotters, binding machines, or similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to assist customers with file preparation.
  • Previous exposure to shipping logistics, carrier services, or freight handling.
  • Proactive problem‑solving mindset with a track record of suggesting process improvements.
