Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers into the branch with a warm, professional demeanor and assist them in opening checking, savings, and other deposit accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records, ensuring all account information is entered correctly and confidentially.
  • Resolve account discrepancies, investigate disputes, and provide clear explanations to customers, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to refer customers to loan officers, wealth management advisors, and other financial specialists, facilitating seamless hand‑offs.
  • Process daily transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments, while adhering to arenaflex’s compliance and security protocols.
  • Count, verify, and package currency and coin, reconciling cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Promote arenaflex’s suite of products and services—such as online banking, mobile apps, credit cards, and investment options—through knowledgeable conversation and targeted outreach.
  • Manage safe deposit box requests, including opening, closing, billing, and granting customer access in accordance with security standards.
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and in‑person interactions, ensuring timely and courteous responses.
  • Perform receptionist and clerical duties, such as greeting visitors, managing appointment schedules, and maintaining a tidy, organized workspace.
  • Collaborate closely with branch teammates, sharing insights, supporting one another during peak periods, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem‑solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling cash, data entry, and account documentation.
  • Excellent multitasking skills—ability to juggle multiple customer requests, transaction processing, and administrative duties without compromising quality.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and arenaflex’s proprietary banking software.
  • Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturday mornings and adjust to branch scheduling needs.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in a banking or financial services setting, though candidates without direct banking experience are encouraged to apply if they possess strong customer service backgrounds.
  • Experience with data entry, cash handling, or reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., AML, KYC) and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in simple terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales or referral targets, showcasing a proactive approach to promoting financial products.
  • Comfort with technology—experience using online banking platforms, mobile apps, and digital transaction tools.

Compensation & Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $13.00 to $16.00, commensurate with experience and performance. In addition to base pay, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Work Schedule

This is a full‑time position with a standard Monday‑through‑Friday schedule from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM. An occasional Saturday morning shift (8:45 AM – 11:30 AM) may be required to accommodate customer demand. The role is based in our Neodesha, Kansas branch, and you will work on‑site, interacting directly with customers and teammates.
