Remote Junior Auditor – Banking Operations
Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Junior Auditor – Banking Operations to join our growing finance and compliance team. Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting internal audits of banking operations, financial transactions, and compliance procedures. Review operational processes to ensure adherence to banking regulations and company policies. Examine financial documents, reports, and transaction records for accuracy and completeness. Support senior auditors in identifying operational risks, control weaknesses, and compliance gaps. Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and preliminary audit reports. Monitor corrective actions taken by departments to address audit findings. Analyze data related to banking transactions, account reconciliations, and internal controls. Participate in risk assessments and contribute to audit planning activities. Maintain strict confidentiality when handling financial and client information. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the audit team and management. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Basic understanding of auditing principles and banking operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial reporting tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards is an advantage. Experience 0–2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, banking operations, or finance. Internship or entry-level experience in internal audit, financial review, or compliance is preferred. Experience working with financial systems or audit tools is considered a plus. Working Hours Full-time remote position. Flexible work schedule with standard business hours. Occasional coordination with global teams across different time zones may be required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of basic audit methodologies and financial control procedures.
