Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls and greet virtual visitors with professionalism and empathy.
  • Respond promptly to email and fax inquiries regarding medical‑record requests, providing status updates, clarifications, and resolutions.
  • Research patient record information across multiple electronic health‑record (EHR) systems to verify authenticity, completeness, and compliance.
  • Maintain and exceed quality and production standards defined by client contracts and internal performance metrics.
  • Prioritize and manage time effectively to ensure all tasks—including request processing, follow‑up communications, and feedback loops—are completed within agreed‑upon turnaround times.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional partners to meet client expectations and resolve escalated issues.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of proven customer‑service experience, preferably in a remote or call‑center environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete all required training programs and certifications within designated timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, with a track record of handling protected health information (PHI) responsibly.
