B2B Prospect Research — US Public Companies (SOX/Internal Audit Leaders)

I’m a technical founder conducting paid research interviews with internal audit leaders at US public companies. I need help building a qualified prospect list. Starting with an initial batch of 50-60 prospects. If the quality is strong, there will be follow-up rounds targeting different segments (pre-IPO companies, former Big 4 auditors, etc.). ⸻ DELIVERABLE: A Google Sheet with 50-60 rows. Each row must contain: 1. Company Name 2. Stock Ticker 3. Revenue Estimate (approximate annual revenue) 4. Revenue Source URL (link to Yahoo Finance, SEC filing, or other source) 5. IPO Year 6. IPO Source URL (link supporting the IPO year) 7. Employee Count (approximate headcount) 8. Hiring for SOX/Audit? (Yes/No) 9. Hiring Signal URL (link to job posting, if applicable) 10. Target Person Name 11. Target Person Title 12. Target Person LinkedIn URL (must be a valid, clickable link) 13. Location (City/State of the target person) 14. Years at Company (approximate, from LinkedIn profile) 15. Prior Big 4 Experience? (Yes/No + which firm. Bonus info, not required.) 16. Priority Score (1-5, see scoring guide below) 17. Reason Selected (brief note explaining why this company/person was included) ⸻ PRIORITY SCORING GUIDE: 5 = Actively hiring SOX roles + recently IPO’d (2023-2025) 4 = Actively hiring SOX/internal audit roles 3 = Recently IPO’d (2023-2025), no active hiring visible 2 = Revenue/employee fit only 1 = Weak match Sort the final spreadsheet by priority score (highest first). ⸻ HOW TO FIND COMPANIES: Priority order (most important first): 1. Companies actively hiring for SOX or internal audit roles — this is the strongest signal 2. Companies that went public (IPO’d) between 2023 and 2025 3. Revenue between $500M and $3B Search for hiring signals using these terms: “SOX Analyst” “SOX Senior Analyst” “Internal Audit SOX” “SOX Compliance Manager” “SOX Program Manager” “Internal Audit Manager” LinkedIn Jobs is recommended, but also check Indeed, Glassdoor, or other major job boards you’re familiar with. For IPO dates: stockanalysis.com/ipos, nasdaq.com, or similar databases. Exclusions: Please exclude companies with more than 10,000 employees. These are too large and bureaucratic for this research phase. ⸻ HOW TO FIND THE TARGET PERSON: Search LinkedIn for people at the company with these titles (in priority order): 1. Director of Internal Audit 2. VP of Internal Audit 3. Head of Internal Audit 4. Chief Audit Executive (CAE) 5. SOX Program Manager / SOX Director 6. Senior Internal Audit Manager These are the people who manage SOX compliance programs. NOT the CFO (too senior), not a junior SOX analyst (can’t make purchasing decisions). Prefer someone who has been in their current role 1-3 years. If they have Big 4 experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) in their work history, note it — but this is a bonus, not a requirement. ⸻ QUALITY EXPECTATIONS:

  • Every row must have a valid, clickable LinkedIn URL for the target person
  • Every row must include a source URL supporting the revenue estimate and IPO year
  • If a hiring signal is claimed, include a link to the actual job posting
  • The “Reason Selected” column must contain a brief, specific note (e.g., “IPO 2024, hiring 2 SOX analysts” or “IPO 2023, Director of IA with 2 years tenure, ex-Deloitte”)
