[Remote] Product Manager, Provider Networks - Remote

Allied Benefit Systems is a company focused on managing provider network partnerships, and they are seeking a Product Manager to oversee these relationships. The role involves managing product documentation, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance processes and support sales efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) on network partnerships including rules of engagement, guidelines, and competitive advantages
  • Provide insight and guidance to internal teams and in support of our sales and renewal processes
  • Create, update, and maintain product documentation related to our network partnerships
  • Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure networks are functioning as intended and collaborate cross-functionally to recommend and/or implement improvements to processes
  • Provide training and support for to sales, account management, and other internal teams
  • Develop rapport and maintain relationships with network partners including management of escalated issues
  • Coordinate with marketing on strategy, product positioning, and creation of product collateral
  • Collaborate and develop relationships with internal teams including operations, sales, account management, marketing, and others
  • Manage escalated issues that require product expertise in coordination with other teams such as claims, operations, finance, and others
  • Help assess new opportunities and partnerships, as needed
  • Support product management team with initiatives and special projects, as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience required
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in product management or similar role
  • Prior experience with provider networks or in the health insurance industry required
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
