[Remote] Business Development Manager-Staffing & Workforce Solutions

Data Based Development Systems is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand strategic partnerships within their staffing and workforce solutions business. The role focuses on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing customized talent solutions for clients to grow revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within target markets and industries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, HR leaders, and executive decision-makers
  • Develop strategic sales plans to expand presence within existing and new accounts
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution-based sales discussions
  • Partner closely with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery of qualified candidates and workforce solutions
  • Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM tools
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to generate new business opportunities
  • Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitive intelligence
  • Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals

Skills

  • 5+ years of business development, sales, account management, or staffing industry experience
  • Proven success generating new business and growing client relationships
  • Strong understanding of staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or professional services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience selling Engineering, IT, Technical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Utility, Government, or Professional Services staffing solutions
  • Existing network of hiring managers and decision-makers
  • Experience working with MSP, VMS, and procurement-driven environments
