[Remote] IT - Project Manager Tech IV

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a Scrum Master to provide direction to development and testing teams, conduct Agile ceremonies, and oversee work and release management. The role involves managing the entire Scrum process, maintaining Scrum artifacts, and supporting change management efforts.

Responsibilities

• As Scrum Master, will provide direction to the development and testing teams members, conduct Agile Ceremonies, oversee work and release management
• Responsible for managing the entire Scrum process and maintaining Scrum artifacts and Scrum Tool
• Takes projects from assignment to implementation
• Supports management team’s efforts in change management
• Recommends and takes action to improve processes

Skills

• All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card) who has the ability to obtain a public trust
• Motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills
• Deep knowledge of software development cycle and testing methodologies
• Utilization of DevOps and Agile methods to promote collaboration and flexibility in software testing and development
• Experience using Version One or other work management tools
• Strong understanding of the complete life cycle of a system (SDLC) application and operating systems
• Attention to Detail. Critical for identifying discrepancies in payroll calculations that could lead to financial penalties or legal issues
• Problem-Solving. Ability to analyze issues and payroll anomalies, determine if a discrepancy is a system bug or input error, and work with developers to resolve them
• Strong Communication Skills. Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, Solutions Architects, Product Owner, Managers and Developers
• Time Management. Manage testing schedules to meet deadlines and payroll cycles
• Successful candidates will ensure quality, timely completion of projects, meeting the specified expectations, reducing the risk or errors and customer satisfaction
• Scrum Master Certification required
• A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years' relevant experience
• A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required
• Typically performs all functional duties independently
• DevSecOps
• Agile Scrum
• VersionOne or equivalent Agile project management software
• Knowledge of and experience with SDLC practices
• Payroll systems and processing
• Mainframe knowledge a plus
