[Remote] Senior Product Designer

This role involves collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to design intuitive and scalable solutions while contributing to design standards and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end user experiences within a product or POD, ensuring usability, clarity, and consistency. Translate product requirements and user needs into effective interaction and visual design solutions that align with business goals
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for features and workflows. Iterate based on feedback, research, and data to deliver production-ready designs that meet usability and accessibility standards
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to align on scope, feasibility, and timelines. Ensure design solutions are practical, well-understood, and implemented effectively within the POD
  • Leverage and contribute to design systems, patterns, and standards. Support consistency across products by applying established guidelines and identifying opportunities for improvement

Skills

  • 7 or more years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 6–8+ years of UX/UI or product design experience
  • Experience designing features or products within complex applications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering in agile or POD-based environments
  • Exposure to design systems and scalable UI patterns
  • Strong ability to design intuitive, end-to-end user experiences within a product or workflow
  • Skilled in interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping
  • Solid visual design skills with attention to clarity, consistency, and usability
  • Capable of creating clean, production-ready interfaces that align with design standards
  • Experience working within and contributing to design systems and component libraries
  • Highly collaborative team player who works effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers
  • Listens closely to customer needs and feedback, using research, data, and insights to inform design decisions
  • Actively contributes to team success by sharing ideas, providing constructive feedback, and supporting peers
  • Able to take defined problems and translate them into practical, well-designed solutions
  • Proficient in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred)
  • Strong communicator with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and actively listen to feedback
  • Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
  • Be adaptive and change priorities quickly; meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Operate computer programs and software
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats
  • Day-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or the public)
  • Making independent decisions
  • Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions
  • Master's degree or advanced coursework in HCI, UX, Product Design, or related disciplines
  • Relevant certifications (optional but valued): UX Design or Human-Centered Design certifications
  • Accessibility (WCAG) or Inclusive Design certifications
  • Design System or Advanced UI/UX specialization programs
