[Remote] Sr. Director of Commercial Operations
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Integra Connect is a value-based, precision medicine company specializing in Health IT and digital health solutions. The Senior Director of Commercial Operations will oversee commercial operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage client-facing engagements to drive project execution in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the organization’s commercial operations, including development, maintenance and tracking of key strategic milestones
- Manage and train staff in project execution management and statement of work support for sales. Partner with cloud, analytics, product, and sales on crafting / developing sales contracts, including outlining requirements, deliverables, timelines and project team
- Partner with finance for forecasting, budget / resource planning, variance analysis, and invoicing on an ongoing basis
- Implement new tools and software and external systems, as needed, to improve workflow for operations team
- Identify temporary agency and establish scale for supplementing staff
- Serve as day-to-day Project Lead and Account Manager on client-facing engagements
- Develop and execute on project plans, including progression towards key milestones and deliverables
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Integra Cloud, Analytics, Product Development, Finance, and Sales to generate client deliverables and ensure on-time delivery of client outputs
- Develop and manage robust communication plans for internal and external stakeholders, including status updates and client / Integra steering committee updates
- Manage projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines and goals
- Partner with sales lead to develop and foster relationships at new and existing accounts to identify future client opportunities
- Participate in the sales cycle from opportunity identification to SOW development in partnership with the sales team
- Mentor cross-functional team members on project management and account management
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members (e.g., project managers, sales, scientific content managers, analytics, medical, curation team, and product) and manage external vendors/contractors including budget oversight and quality control
- Manage 5+ direct reports (e.g., commercial operations managers and project coordinator)
Skills
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience
- 12+ years of progressing client facing experience with involvement in project management and/or client services
- Proven leadership skills and management consulting background
- Advance Degree or relevant field, MBA preferred
- Experience in the healthcare/life sciences
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Proven experience creating, reviewing, and enhancing customer facing presentations and deliverables
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to translate technical and non-technical content to executive stakeholders
- Project management software experience
- Salesforce experience
- Proficient in using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Understanding of Oncology
- Travel up to 40%
- Time Zone Requirement: CST/EST residents only
- Management consulting background preferred
- PMP preferred but not required
