[Remote] Business Development Manager, Production Studios

As the Business Development Manager for Production Studios, you will build strategic relationships with top production studios to define AI market opportunities and guide the adoption of Griptape in production workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Become Foundry’s GTM domain expert as we transform film & episodic production into a segment that derives significant value from AI throughout all stages of a project’s lifecycle
  • Leverage relationships within target accounts (Big 5, Streamers, Top Production Studios) to define the production-side market opportunity for Griptape and to help shape Product and GTM strategies
  • Maintain an active industry presence through speaking engagements and panels to champion Foundry’s vision at the intersection of AI and entertainment
  • Capture key insights for developing compelling value propositions and the ROI metrics required to successfully drive adoption of Foundry products into the production-side segment
  • Work closely with Foundry key stakeholders to ensure compelling value is messaged and delivered throughout our GTM motions, including sales playbook development, product demos, and evaluations
  • Execute GTM strategy within named accounts

Skills

  • Established C-level network within major Hollywood studios and prominent production companies
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools and workflows
  • Deep understanding of studio pipelines, production economics, and the transformative potential of AI in film and media
  • Strong executive communication and sales-type skills
  • Direct experience working within a production studio that is actively considering or implementing the use of AI
  • Thought leadership presence (speaking engagements, publications) regarding the intersection of technology and entertainment
  • At least 10 years of experience working as a VFX Supervisor or in a similar influential role in media production
  • Remote role. Preference is based in the greater Los Angeles area. Some travel required
