[Remote] Director – Product Management (AI-Enabled Healthcare Platform)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Simplify Healthcare is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead their AI-enabled healthcare platform. This role involves defining product strategy, driving innovation, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a differentiated product strategy aligned to market opportunities, customer needs, and business growth objectives
  • Own multi-year roadmap planning and prioritization across strategic product areas
  • Drive innovation across the healthcare payer product portfolio leveraging AI/ML, automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows
  • Identify opportunities to modernize payer operations through digital transformation and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Ensure platform scalability, usability, configurability, and operational excellence
  • Drive adoption of Generative AI, intelligent automation, conversational AI, and decision-support capabilities across payer workflows
  • Partner with AI, analytics, engineering, and architecture teams to define scalable AI-driven product solutions
  • Evaluate emerging industry trends related to AI-enabled healthcare platforms, interoperability, workflow modernization, and operational automation
  • Champion responsible AI principles including governance, explainability, security, compliance, and healthcare data privacy
  • Lead transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing Product Managers and cross-functional product teams
  • Establish a strong product culture focused on customer outcomes, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact
  • Coach and develop next-generation product leaders with strong business and healthcare domain expertise
  • Foster a proactive, execution-oriented, and data-driven decision-making culture
  • Drive organizational product maturity, product operating models, and best practices
  • Drive product development from concept → strategy → execution → launch → adoption → optimization
  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, QA, Architecture, and Delivery teams to deliver high-quality enterprise SaaS products
  • Own prioritization decisions balancing customer value, scalability, technical investments, and business impact
  • Ensure timely delivery of releases while maintaining quality, compliance, security, and operational readiness
  • Oversee release communication, demos, training enablement, and product adoption strategies
  • Leverage deep healthcare payer expertise across Benefits, Claims, Prior Authorization, Provider, Member, and Clinical workflows
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer research to identify product opportunities
  • Translate complex healthcare business requirements into scalable platform capabilities and configurable product solutions
  • Bring customer-centric thinking into all product decisions by understanding operational pain points, user journeys, and adoption challenges
  • Own product-level growth metrics including ACV, adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and platform expansion opportunities
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to drive product positioning and revenue growth
  • Support strategic customer engagements, executive presentations, roadmap discussions, and pre-sales initiatives
  • Influence investment decisions through strong business cases, market insights, and product strategy alignment
  • Drive measurable business outcomes through product innovation and operational transformation
  • Collaborate across multiple product ecosystems and enterprise platform initiatives
  • Work effectively across global teams, stakeholders, and delivery organizations
  • Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, GTM, Operations, Customer Success, and partner ecosystems
  • Influence cross-functional decision-making in a fast-paced and evolving business environment

Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Leadership, Consulting, or Healthcare Technology leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading enterprise SaaS products, product organizations, and large-scale platform initiatives
  • Deep expertise in U.S. healthcare payer domain including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, ACA, Claims, Benefits, Provider, and Authorization workflows
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, interoperability, utilization management, and claims adjudication workflows
  • Experience driving digital transformation, AI-enabled product innovation, or workflow automation initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with experience owning product growth metrics and strategic business outcomes
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and modern enterprise architecture (preferably Microsoft Azure)
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, storytelling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead through ambiguity and organizational change
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in high-growth, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environments
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven products, analytics platforms, intelligent automation, or Generative AI capabilities
  • Healthcare domain expertise preferred / good to have
