[Remote] Recruiter
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Microsoft is seeking a Recruiter to connect early-career talent with opportunities in cloud and technical fields. This contract role focuses on high-volume recruiting for intern and entry-level positions, where the Recruiter will manage talent pipelines, support interview coordination, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Source and screen candidates for entry-level cloud and technically aligned roles, assessing skills, experience, and role fit
- Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to align on hiring needs and candidate profiles
- Manage candidate communication and engagement throughout the full hiring process
- Support interview coordination, debrief sessions, and candidate progression through the offer stage
- Build and maintain pipelines of early-career cloud, infrastructure, and distributed systems talent
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and activity within recruiting systems
- Contribute to high-volume hiring efforts across multiple teams simultaneously
- Identify and engage candidates through multiple sourcing channels including professional networks, applicant tracking systems, and referrals
- Conduct structured candidate screens evaluating skills, education, experience, and cloud or technical alignment
- Qualify candidates against defined hiring bar requirements and role-specific criteria
- Manage candidates through full recruiting workflows from initial screen through interview and handoff
- Maintain strong applicant tracking system hygiene including documentation, tracking, and process compliance
Skills
- 2 to 4 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and screening candidates with a focus on technical talent identification and assessment
- Experience working in high-volume recruiting environments managing multiple requisitions concurrently
- Experience recruiting for cloud, infrastructure, distributed systems, or related technical roles
- Experience supporting early-in-profession or university hiring programs including intern and entry-level pipelines, as well as industry hiring
