[Remote] Interim Senior Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant to provide hands-on accounting support during a system migration. This fully remote role will involve preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries during month-end and quarter-end close
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
- Support financial reporting and general ledger activities
- Prepare payroll journal entries, prepaids, and PP&E
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and investigations
- Help support accounting operations during an ERP migration
- Audit Support
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Microsoft Dynamics or Power BI required
- External audit support or public accounting experience is a plus
