[Remote] Sr. Engineer-Network Engineering

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize complex enterprise network environments, ensuring reliability, security, and performance while driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, script, and execute network changes following established change management processes
  • Troubleshoot complex network incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term solutions
  • Manage network performance, availability, and reliability while driving proactive improvements
  • Support network upgrades, migrations, software updates, patching, capacity planning, and resiliency initiatives
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewall policies, ACLs, zero-trust segmentation, and access governance
  • Monitor network health and integrate observability tools to identify and prevent performance degradation
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, operational procedures, and runbooks
  • Partner with Network Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Service Delivery teams, and external vendors to resolve issues and support strategic initiatives

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in network engineering or infrastructure support
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN
  • Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Strong hands-on experience with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
  • Strong hands-on experience with MPLS and Quality of Service (QoS)
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Strong hands-on experience with network security and firewall management
  • Experience supporting highly available, resilient enterprise networks
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE
  • Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center
  • Knowledge of network architecture, design principles, and governance standards
