[Remote] Business Development Manager- Colorado- Remote

Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance, LLC is a subsidiary of Velocity Vehicle Group, specializing in commercial truck financing and leasing. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to define strategic goals, build customer relationships, and identify business opportunities while maintaining client satisfaction and managing existing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Prospects for new clients by networking, advertising, cold calling, and other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
- Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Attends industry functions, such as association events and conferences to establish new and maintain current relationships with clients for future business
- Develops rapport with new clients; builds key customer relationships and continues to grow business in the future
- Grows and retains existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services offered to clients
- Develops a robust pipeline of transactions
- Provides support that continually improves the customer relationship
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing and negotiating contracts
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing deal requirements and financials
- Increases sales opportunities and thereby maximizes revenue for the organization
- Works with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Identifies opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
- Selects employees for hire and disciplines employees
- Provides training, scheduling, assigning, coaching, counseling to employees
- Communicates job expectations and monitors progress
- Appraises and reviews job contributions
- Conducts annual compensation reviews
- Enforces policies and procedures
- Maintains excellent customer service standards
- Communicates customer service standards to department personnel
- Resolves customer complaints and provides conflict resolution to customers
- Visits customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations

- B.A. preferred
- Minimum of four or five (4-5) years of experience
