[Remote] Content Writer & Social Media Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Plasiv is a manufacturing intelligence platform for the electronics industry, aiming to transform traditional workflows with AI-powered solutions. They are seeking a Content & Social Media Strategy Intern to develop content plans and create clear, engaging material for a technical audience, while collaborating closely with the founder and design team.
Responsibilities
- Build and own a strategic content calendar across the Plasiv website, blog, and social channels (starting with LinkedIn, then expanding)
- Turn technically complex topics into clear, digestible content for engineers and operations leaders
- Use generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) to draft, iterate on, and scale content production without sacrificing voice or accuracy
- Track content performance with analytics (GA4, LinkedIn analytics, etc.), spot gaps, and iterate. Bring data to every content decision
- Develop and evolve Plasiv's product voice and tone in collaboration with the founder and designer
- Use research, customer conversations, and small experiments to validate what's working and kill what isn't
- Help build the foundations of content at Plasiv: lightweight style guides, taxonomy, content templates, and documentation that future teammates inherit
- Partner across the team - engineering, design, and founder to keep content tied to what we're actually shipping
Skills
- Strong writing instincts and the ability to distill complex, technical ideas into clean, useful content
- Comfort using generative AI tools as a daily collaborator — you know how to prompt, edit, and where the tools fall short
- Hands-on experience using analytics (GA4, LinkedIn, Substack, or similar) to identify gaps and shape content decisions
- Working familiarity with HTML, content management systems (CMS), taxonomy, and basic UX principles, enough to publish, structure, and ship without help
- Sharp communication: you can explain content tradeoffs to a CEO, a designer, and an engineer in the same meeting
- An eye for quality and polish. You sweat the details - typography, headlines, micro-copy, image choice
- Bonus if you've written about a technical or B2B topic before
- A portfolio, newsletter, blog, or social presence that shows how you think
- Experience running a content experiment (A/B test, format pivot, channel test) and learning from it
- Basic design chops - Figma, Canva, or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals
Benefits
- Competitive intern compensation
- Real ownership - your work ships, gets read, and gets measured
- Exposure to a real go-to-market motion at an early-stage startup
