About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and linguistically skilled Hindi Research Editor to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent command over written Hindi, proficiency in Hindi typing (Unicode/Mangal), and a strong ability to edit, proofread, and format academic or research-oriented documents.

Key Responsibilities

Review and edit Hindi research papers, articles, and academic reports for grammar, clarity, and consistency. Type, proofread, and format documents in Hindi Unicode or Mangal fonts. Ensure adherence to institutional and publication formatting guidelines. Coordinate with authors and the English editorial team for bilingual accuracy and translation consistency. Assist in preparing Hindi abstracts, summaries, or translations from English. Maintain quality control over final drafts before submission or publication.

Requirements

Excellent command of Hindi grammar and writing. Proficiency in Hindi typing using Unicode / Mangal or equivalent fonts. Strong editing, proofreading, and formatting abilities. Familiarity with MS Word, Google Docs, and academic formatting. Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Basic understanding of research writing, referencing styles, or journal submission norms (preferred).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Journalism, Linguistics, or related fields. Experience in academic/research editing or translation (preferred). Fresh graduates with strong language skills may also apply. Preferred Experience Prior work with academic journals, publishing houses, or research organizations. Experience in editing or translating research content (social sciences, education, or literature).
