Remote Full-time Live

About arenaflex and the Opportunity

Welcome to arenaflex, where imagination meets strategic communications in one of the world's most dynamic industries. At arenaflex, we partner with leading entertainment brands, media organizations, and creative studios to amplify stories that captivate global audiences. We are currently seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Publicity Coordinator – Remote Field Marketing & Media Relations Specialist to join our expanding publicity and promotions division. This role is perfect for emerging communications professionals who are passionate about pop culture, entertainment marketing, and community-driven brand engagement.

As a Junior Publicity Coordinator at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in supporting field publicity initiatives, regional marketing activations, and media outreach programs for some of the most recognizable entertainment properties in the world. Working remotely with occasional domestic travel, you will collaborate with a talented team of publicists, marketers, and brand strategists who share your enthusiasm for storytelling and cultural impact. If you are a college student or recent graduate looking to break into entertainment publicity, this opportunity offers an unparalleled launching pad for your career.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Publicity Coordinator at arenaflex, your day-to-day contributions will span a variety of exciting functions. Below is a comprehensive overview of what your role will entail:

  • Field Publicity Strategy & Execution: Develop, coordinate, and execute innovative field publicity campaigns designed to generate buzz and awareness for major entertainment releases, including feature films, streaming series, and special content launches. You will work closely with senior publicists to bring creative concepts to life across multiple regional markets.
  • Event Coordination & Management: Plan, organize, and manage regional screening programs, press preview events, fan activations, and experiential marketing initiatives. This includes coordinating logistics such as venue selection, guest list curation, talent scheduling, vendor management, and on-site execution to ensure each event delivers maximum impact.
  • Word-of-Mouth (WOM) Marketing Programs: Oversee and support word-of-mouth regional screening initiatives designed to drive authentic audience engagement. You will identify target demographics, recruit screening participants, and measure the effectiveness of WOM campaigns.
  • Media Relations & Outreach: Build and nurture relationships with regional journalists, entertainment reporters, social media influencers, bloggers, and experiential marketing agencies. You will help craft compelling pitch angles, distribute press materials, and secure meaningful media coverage for client campaigns.
  • Press Day Logistics: Provide hands-on support during press days and junkets, including coordinating talent schedules, managing press material distribution, liaising with studio representatives, and ensuring smooth operations during high-pressure media events.
  • Community Outreach & Multicultural Engagement: Collaborate with multicultural PR teams and community organizations to plan regional activations that resonate with diverse audiences. You will help develop culturally relevant campaigns that strengthen brand presence in underrepresented communities.
  • Content Security & Anti-Piracy Oversight: Oversee anti-piracy measures and manage the secure delivery of promotional assets for regional activations. You will work with internal security teams to ensure that confidential content remains protected throughout the publicity process.
  • Domestic Travel & On-Site Representation: Occasionally travel to domestic regional events to represent arenaflex and our clients, coordinating on-site activities, managing event staff, and serving as a brand ambassador during press engagements and fan experiences.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track, measure, and report on the success of publicity campaigns using key performance indicators such as media impressions, social engagement, event attendance, and audience sentiment. You will present findings to senior team members and clients.
