Position Overview As a Part-Time Claims Data Entry Processor at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. This role requires exceptional typing speed and accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to navigate specialized imaging software efficiently. You will be working Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Central Standard Time, allowing you to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle. This is a fully remote position, meaning you can work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace. What You'll Be Doing Every Day Your primary responsibility as a Claims Data Entry Processor will be to accurately and efficiently enter data from insurance claims and authorization requests into our systems. This involves reviewing documents submitted by healthcare providers, extracting relevant information, and inputting it with precision to meet client turnaround times. Your accuracy directly impacts reimbursement cycles, provider satisfaction, and ultimately patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry Excellence: Enter data from insurance claims and authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times while maintaining exceptional accuracy standards.
  • Software Navigation: Navigate efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, ensuring seamless workflow progression.
  • Document Differentiation: Differentiate between different claim types (medical, dental, vision, etc.) and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines for each document type.
  • Special Handling Identification: Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling, escalation, or additional verification.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times and quality standards.
  • Workflow Support: Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality review of other team members' claims and authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, providing constructive feedback when necessary.
  • Issue Identification: Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, irregularities, or process inefficiencies.
