Position Overview

We are actively seeking motivated, detail‑oriented individuals to join our remote workforce as Data Entry Specialists. In this role, you will become an essential part of arenaflex’s data capture engine, converting scanned images and electronic documents into accurate, structured information that powers downstream analytics, billing, and patient care processes. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data from a continuous stream of images into the QuickClaim system, ensuring each record meets arenaflex’s exacting quality standards.
  • Identify and classify document types (e.g., claim forms, eligibility letters, medical records) based on visual cues and accompanying metadata.
  • Perform rigorous quality checks, verifying that entered data aligns with source documents and complies with internal validation rules.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all Personal Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations and arenaflex’s privacy policies.
  • Collaborate professionally with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional staff to resolve ambiguities and improve data accuracy.
  • Suggest process enhancements, automation opportunities, or workflow adjustments that could increase efficiency or reduce error rates.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within each shift, ensuring that daily production targets are met or exceeded.
  • Perform additional office‑support duties as needed, such as filing, document indexing, or assisting with training of new hires.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Competitive hourly rate of $12 per hour.
  • Both part‑time (minimum 20 hours per week) and full‑time opportunities available; full‑time is preferred.
  • Flexible shift options between 8:00 am – 9:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday.

Essential Qualifications

  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a remote environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 50 words per minute (WPM) with 95% accuracy and 4,500 keystrokes per hour (KPH) with 95% accuracy.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding confidential client data and adhering to HIPAA standards.
  • Quick learning aptitude with the capacity to follow both simple and complex instructions.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in healthcare data entry, medical billing, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, OCR technologies, or data capture platforms.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare terminology, claim processing, and insurance workflows.
  • Experience working remotely with reliable high‑speed internet and a dedicated home office setup.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
