If so, arenaflex invites you to become a vital part of a team that is reshaping the landscape of patient care, one conversation at a time. As a leading healthcare services organization, arenaflex specializes in delivering comprehensive, high-touch support to patients navigating some of the most challenging health journeys of their lives — including those managing chronic conditions such as hemophilia, oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, and growth hormone deficiency. We don't simply process calls; we listen, we care, and we connect patients with the resources and support they need to thrive.

This is more than a customer service role — it is a mission-driven opportunity to contribute to an industry-leading organization that places patients at the very center of everything it does. As a Work-From-Home Customer Service Representative, you will serve on the front lines of patient care, fielding phone inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Whether you're clarifying pharmacy benefit details, walking a patient through coverage questions, or simply lending a supportive ear to someone feeling overwhelmed by their healthcare situation, your impact will be tangible and deeply appreciated.

At arenaflex, we believe that exceptional healthcare goes beyond prescriptions and clinical protocols — it starts with human connection. Our team members deliver an integrated suite of healthcare products and services designed to support patients with complex and chronic conditions. Our work is guided by a relentless commitment to innovation and patient well-being. We continuously invest in cutting-edge tools, robust training programs, and collaborative team structures that empower our employees to deliver outstanding service. When you join arenaflex, you are not simply joining a company — you are joining a community of dedicated professionals who genuinely believe that every patient deserves access to high-quality, personalized care.

Role Overview: Customer Service Representative (Work-From-Home)

We are actively seeking motivated, empathetic, and detail-oriented individuals to fill Customer Service Representative positions across our remote work-from-home model. These roles are available to qualified candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of Warrendale, PA; Orlando, FL; or Memphis, TN. You will be an essential voice on the phone, serving as the primary point of contact for patients seeking clarity, support, and resolution regarding their pharmacy benefits and healthcare services.

In this flex/work-at-home (WAH) position, you will experience the best of both worlds — the autonomy and comfort of remote work combined with the rewarding pace of a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. Your contributions will directly influence the quality of life for patients dealing with some of the most complex and chronic health conditions. If you are a clear communicator, a patient listener, and a committed problem-solver, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Inbound Patient Call Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for patients calling in with questions, concerns, or requests related to their pharmacy benefits and coverage. Handle each call with professionalism, patience, and empathy, ensuring every patient feels heard and valued.
  • Patient Education and Benefit Guidance: Use your in-depth training and product knowledge to help patients understand their pharmacy benefits, coverage details, and available options. Break down complex information into clear, accessible language that patients can understand and act on confidently.
  • Real-Time Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document all patient interactions in our customer relationship management (CRM) and case management systems in real time. Attention to detail is critical, as these records help drive ongoing patient care coordination and clinical decisions.
  • Problem-Solving and Escalation: Identify the root of each patient concern efficiently and work through appropriate channels to resolve issues. Escalate complex or sensitive cases to specialized teams when necessary, ensuring a seamless handoff that maintains the patient's trust and confidence.
  • Patient Advocacy and Empathy: Bring a human touch to every interaction. Acknowledge patient frustrations, celebrate their milestones, and reassure them that they are in capable, caring hands. Empathy is not a soft skill at arenaflex — it is a core competency that defines the quality of our service.
  • Collaboration and Team Support: Work closely with team members, clinical care managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, coordinated care. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality assurance reviews to continuously refine your skills.
  • Compliance and Quality Standards: Adhere strictly to arenaflex's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and other healthcare privacy standards. Maintain a high standard of accuracy and professionalism in all documentation and communications.

What You Should Have: Qualifications and Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED: A foundational level of education is required for this role. If you have completed higher education, that is absolutely a plus as well.
  • Minimum of 1 Year of Relevant Experience: We are looking for candidates who have prior experience in customer service, patient support, call center operations, healthcare administration, or a related field. Experience in pharmacy, insurance, or healthcare settings is especially valued.
  • General PC and Microsoft Office Proficiency: Comfort navigating Windows-based computer systems, using Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and Excel), and learning new software tools quickly. Strong typing speed and accuracy are important.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: You must be able to communicate clearly, confidently, and compassionately over the phone and in written form. Grammar, tone, and active listening skills are all critical.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

  • Prior experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance-related customer service role
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit management (PBM) concepts, medical terminology, or healthcare claims processes
  • Experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment with reliable home office setup
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, particularly Spanish, are a strong plus
  • Experience with CRM, call center software, or electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • A demonstrated track record of empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence in customer-facing roles

Work Environment and Remote Work Requirements

This is a flexible work-from-home (WAH) position that allows the majority of your work to be performed remotely from your home. We believe in empowering our employees with flexibility while maintaining the structure and support needed for professional success. However, working from home does come with important technical requirements to ensure you can deliver excellent service consistently:

  • Reliable High-Speed Internet: You must have a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload speed. Mobile hotspots or wireless-only connections are not acceptable.
  • Wired Ethernet Connection: A stable, wired Ethernet connection is strongly recommended. Depending on your current home setup, you may need to purchase an Ethernet cable to meet this requirement.
  • Dedicated Workspace: You must have a quiet, professional workspace in your home where you can take patient calls without interruption or background noise.
  • Fully Vaccinated for Onsite Visits: While the majority of work is performed remotely, if you choose to or are required to attend any onsite activities, you must be fully vaccinated in accordance with arenaflex health and safety policies.
