Role Overview: Strategic Customer Success Manager

arenaflex is seeking a dynamic, commercially‑oriented Strategic Customer Success Manager (CSM) with deep expertise in the HR technology arena. In this pivotal role, you will be the trusted advisor for a portfolio of high‑value customers, driving revenue growth through renewals, expansions, and strategic partnership development. You will blend consultative sales acumen with a passion for talent assessment to ensure our clients extract maximum value from arenaflex Select and arenaflex Develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth & Expansion
    • Identify and cultivate upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding OTE targets.
    • Develop strategic account plans that align arenaflex solutions with each client’s long‑term business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact, championing the customer’s voice across product, support, and executive teams.
    • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that showcase ROI, adoption metrics, and roadmap alignment.
  • Renewal & Expansion Cycle Management
    • Own the end‑to‑end renewal process, from health score monitoring to contract negotiation and sign‑off.
    • Leverage data‑driven health indicators to proactively mitigate churn risk and accelerate expansion deals.
  • Product Expertise & Market Insight
    • Maintain deep knowledge of arenaflex Select, arenaflex Develop, and emerging product features.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends in HR tech, recruiting, HCM, and learning management systems to provide strategic counsel.
  • Customer Advocacy & Feedback Loop
    • Act as an internal advocate, translating client feedback into actionable product enhancements.
    • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to remove adoption barriers and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leadership & Mentorship
    • Share best practices, coach junior CSMs, and contribute to the development of a high‑performing Customer Success organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SaaS Customer Success experience, specifically with HR technology solutions (Recruiting, HCM, LMS, etc.).
  • Proven track record of managing a large, complex portfolio and delivering measurable revenue growth through renewals and expansions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical mindset—proficient in using data, health scores, and CRM tools to drive strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships and influence senior executives.

  • Experience in a fast‑growing HR tech or talent assessment company.
