Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented IT Asset Owner – Data Entry Analyst to join our growing IT team. In this entry‑level, fully remote role, you will be responsible for managing, curating, and improving the quality of data assets that power arenaflex’s business intelligence, reporting, and decision‑making processes. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into clear, actionable data requirements and ensuring that our data pipelines are reliable, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and govern data assets, including datasets, data dictionaries, and metadata, to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, analysts, and external vendors to gather and refine business requirements for data‑driven initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation that guide development and testing teams.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities using SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data models, dashboards, and reports that support strategic decision‑making.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies—including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives—as a dedicated Scrum Master when required.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within software, application, or data development environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL query writing, data extraction, and basic data manipulation.
• BI Tools: Experience with Power BI or comparable data visualization platforms; familiarity with creating dashboards and interactive reports.
• Data Governance: Understanding of data stewardship, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
