Why This Role Matters

The Senior Data Entry & Voice‑of‑Customer Analyst is a pivotal member of the Customer Listening Team, a cross‑functional group that translates raw survey feedback into actionable intelligence. In this role you will help design, build, and maintain the data pipelines that power our VoC platform, ensuring that insights are accurate, timely, and ready for strategic decision‑making. Your work directly influences product roadmaps, service enhancements, and the overall customer experience for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders—including product owners, data engineers, and agile delivery teams—to capture and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models that support both batch and real‑time analytics, leveraging technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python.
  • Design, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines that ingest, cleanse, and enrich VoC data from multiple sources, including survey platforms, CRM systems, and third‑party APIs.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring processes, guaranteeing that downstream analytics are reliable and trustworthy.
  • Automate repetitive data‑entry tasks using scripting languages (Python, Shell) and workflow orchestration tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Partner with the analytics community to develop standardized metric definitions, dashboards, and reporting templates that enable self‑service insights for business users.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives—to ensure timely delivery of data solutions aligned with business priorities.
  • Stay current with emerging big‑data technologies and industry best practices, recommending enhancements that keep arenaflex at the forefront of data‑driven decision making.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with big‑data ecosystems (Hive, Hadoop, Spark, PySpark) and Python programming.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain complex ETL pipelines in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, relational and NoSQL databases, and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery framework, delivering incremental value in short sprints.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with a track record of troubleshooting data‑quality issues and implementing robust solutions.
  • Effective communication skills—able to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional language proficiency is a plus, especially for multilingual survey environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with survey platforms and VoC tools, having previously integrated data from Qualtrics‑style solutions (now referred to as arenaflex).
  • Knowledge of machine‑learning pipelines and the ability to incorporate predictive models into VoC analytics.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (Scrum Master, Product Owner) or data‑engineering credentials.
