Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be the front‑line ambassador for arenaflex’s cardholder community. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Answering inbound calls from cardholders with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date customer records in our secure, cloud‑based CRM system.
  • Resolving inquiries ranging from balance checks and payment processing to dispute investigations and fraud alerts.
  • Authorizing sales transactions, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Building lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, and internal partners by delivering consistent, high‑quality service.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross‑sell or upsell additional arenaflex products that meet the customer’s financial needs.
  • Participating in regular training sessions, performance reviews, and quality‑assurance audits to continuously improve service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • At least 6 months of customer service experience in any industry, or equivalent experience gained through military service.
  • Ability to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (details provided during the hiring process).
  • Residency within a 2½‑hour commute of Rapid City, SD, to accommodate mandatory in‑person training days.
  • Proficiency with computers, including the ability to navigate multiple windows, type accurately while speaking, and use Microsoft Outlook effectively.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of handling complex customer issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a collaborative, team‑first attitude.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; arenaflex does not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.
  • Willingness to undergo a background investigation, drug test, and fingerprinting as part of the selection process.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Attributes

  • Prior experience in the financial services or credit card industry, especially handling sensitive financial data.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as PCI‑DSS, FDIC regulations, and consumer protection laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics (e.g., average handle time, first‑call resolution, customer satisfaction scores).
  • Experience working remotely in a self‑managed environment, with a dedicated home office setup.
  • High‑speed internet connectivity (minimum 25 Mbps download) and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.
